ClearSkin Laser

Our state-of-the-art ClearSkin laser produces microscopic beams of light that apply controlled micro-damage to the skin. As a result, acne skin will produce less sebum, dead skin cells are removed, and the bacteria that cause acne are killed. But ClearSkin is also used to treat visible skin problems such as fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage and an uneven skin tone. The result is permanently smoother skin with a balanced skin tone. Unlike chemical peels and ablative lasers, the top layer of skin is not destroyed.

ClearSkin can improve a variety of skin problems:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • (Acne) scars

  • Skin ageing and skin discolouration due to sun damage

  • Liver spots

  • Large pores

  • Uneven skin texture, colour and tone, pigmentation

During the treatment

We start by removing your makeup. We numb your skin with cream so that you feel next to nothing during the treatment. Without anaesthesia, it would feel like a rubber band is being shot against your skin. The ClearSkinlaser allows us to focus extra attention on specific problem areas. The treatment takes about an hour, and you will experience little to no downtime. After the treatment, we will treat your skin with a cooling balm and an infrared mask to calm your skin.

After the treatment

Your skin may be a little red and blotchy, and you will experience some afterglow; this will disappear after a few hours. In the evening, you can cleanse your skin gently but must refrain from using exfoliating products or retinol. It is essential to moisturise your face well with cream. We recommend you wear an SPF 30 and not expose your face to the sun or use a tanning bed for 2 weeks.

Treatment schedule for best results

An average of 4 treatments are needed for optimal results, with an interval of 2 to 3 weeks between treatments. After that, we recommend a maintenance treatment every 6 months to keep your acne under control. Do you not have acne, but a general skin improvement goal?
