ClearLift Laser
Our ClearLift non-ablative laser boosts the collagen in your skin and tightens it without the week of discomfort and downtime you would experience with a fractional ablative laser. ClearLift uses acoustic sound waves, gentle enough to treat the most delicate areas on the face, neck, décolletage, around the eyes and even the lips while minimising the risk of hyperpigmentation that you can get with other lasers. By causing controlled microscopic damage to the epidermis (the top layer of skin) and the dermis (the second layer of skin), it nudges your skin to produce new collagen, resulting in clearer, firmer and plumper skin. This laser can treat targeted problem areas in deeper layers of the dermis. Because ClearLift uses sound waves instead of heat, it is particularly suitable for the long-term treatment of melasma.
ClearLift can improve a variety of skin problems:
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Uneven skin texture, colour and tone
-
Broken capillaries, rosacea and large pores
-
Dark scars
-
Skin ageing and skin discolouration due to sun damage
-
Sagging skin due to loss of collagen
-
Pigmentation: liver spots and melasma
-
Dark circles under the eyes
-
Breakdown of unwanted fillers
During the treatment
We start by removing your makeup. We numb your skin with cream so that you feel next to nothing during the treatment. Without anaesthesia, it would feel like a rubber band is being shot against your skin. The ClearLift laser allows us to focus extra attention on specific problem areas. The treatment takes about an hour, and you will experience little to no downtime. After the treatment, we will treat your skin with a cooling balm and an infrared mask to calm your skin.
After the treatment
Your skin may be a little red and blotchy, and you will experience some afterglow; this will disappear after a few hours. In the evening, you can cleanse your skin gently but must refrain from using exfoliating products or retinol. It is essential to moisturise your face well with cream. We recommend you wear an SPF 30 and not expose your face to the sun or use a tanning bed for 2 weeks.
Treatment schedule for best results
An average of 4 treatments are needed for optimal results, with an interval of 2 to 3 weeks between treatments.
